We have been blessed with a family through the miracle of adoption. The idea of adoption is woven into fabric of God’s ways. Miracle after miracle God shows His ways to us by building families through adoption. Not only is adoption a blessing, but it is a reflection of the way God welcomes us into His family through His son.
The blinders of nationalism are man-made, the light of God’s word reveals that we are all children yearning to enter His family. See this scripture as just one of many that serves as a guidepost for adoption.
Galatians 4:3-7
In the same way we also, when we were children, were enslaved to the elementary principles of the world. But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons. And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!” So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God.
